Cross a bridge when you come to it...

Cross a bridge when you come to it...  In reality , we will always cross a bridge when we come to it but do we really live with the reality ???

our parents , especially mothers are classic examples... Man!! she was always worried , irrespective of what happened...
when we were born - she was worried that we should be of good health for 10 months,
when we started walking - she was worried that we should get into a good school,
when we were in to school - she was worried that should study well ,
when we were in 10th std - she was worried from 8 th that we should score high ,
when we were in 12th std - she was worried from 11th that we should score high,
when 12 th results were out - she was worried that we should get in to a good institute,
when we studied college - she was worried that we should get a good job,
when we were working  - she was worried (this time cleverly)that she should get a good daughter in law,
when we were married  - she was worried that we should have healthy child soon,
when we get a child - she again starts worrying for our children like she worried for us ....

Hell! she worried all the time , all through her life... I do not mean that she worries 24x7 , yet she has something to worry when she is not occupied , she occupy herself with the worries...

Take a case , she worried for our studies...even if she was confident on us for scoring 100% - she will worry that we should not get 99%. if we get 100 % - all the time she spent worrying is waste and importantly it has caused great mental agony for nothing... if we get 10% - all the time she spent is waste again , and she has got enough time to worry after we have failed. Irony is, we never worried when we failed - thats a different story.

The anxiety of what is going to happen is the reason for the worries because she did not wait for a bridge to come..

Said about our mothers but do we cross a bridge when we come to it ???

Kalam Ji asked us to dream , but what all do we dream...
we dreamt of hitting a six of the last ball like Mianded - even before we learn to play cricket,
we dreamt of having a beautiful girl like Katrina - even before we were 16,
we dreamt of having a Hummer like Dhoni  - even before we start to work ,
we dreamt of many things which were to be censored... and what not...

if our mom has something to worry and we got something to dream... in both cases , similarly in all cases , we always wanted to cross a bridge , before it comes...
We should learn to live with the reality ,we should deal with a situation when, and not before, it occurs, and we should cross a bridge when we come to it...

Gandhi, Nehru, and Nethaji… TT injections please…

Long long ago… So long ago… nobody can say how long ago…  This is not Patti vada sutta kathai…  this is one story filled with action sequences and loads of fun…
There lived three friends… Gandhi, Nehru, and Nethaji… let us have a short introduction of each one of them…
Gandhi - Tall  , Lean , handsome guy with poor memory - Evannuku avan romba nallvanuu nenaipu…
Nehru - Average height , smart guy with good elocution skills - evana vai illaina nai thukittu poidum.
Nethaji - Short and stout guy with good humor - Nakkal pudihca alunga…
they became friends during their school days and they became very close… all of them finished their undergraduation at different universities.Gandhi and Nethaji were working in MNCs while Nehru was pursuing his higher education…
From now i will explain the story from the eyes of nethaji …
It was the new year time and we all three planned to have a get together at Gandhi’s residence … I lied family that i was on a business trip and came to Gandhis house while Nehru also reached Gandhi’s residence - the place is far off from the city/ town ,  house is in the middle of the farmland ,interestingly you may start to sleep alone  but any snake can accompany you during the night.
We All three were happy to meet each other after a long time and we were chatting all day and enjoying the beauty of Gandhi’s residence and the farmland nearby . we also started playing cricket using thenna mattai (coconut tree branch) as the bat. i hurt myself by falling down during the play twice while Gandhi was hurt playing the fast deliveries from me ( few spots of his white skin became purple after getting hit )…but by then we did not know that they were the signs of things to follow…
In the evening -  Gandhi went to meet his aunty and uncle house ,by the way met his cousin (Athai ponnu ) and came out with the news that she was repeatedly teased by a bunch of roadside rameos who were reportedly spending their day time at the same school of hers in the name of students.his cousin name is Kannagi and guy who teased her was kovalan…
We three heroes discussed how to sort out the issue and finally decided to mildly threaten that guy and thought he would be afraid as we were 5 or 6 six years elder. but Gandhi was very serious and he said he want to slap that guy but what happened was a completely different story…
We got the number of kovalan from kannagi and gave a call to him and said we are his school seniors and want to meet him and discuss about an issue, it was very evident that he was afraid and he said he was out of station and would arrive the next day.we were eagerly waiting for him.
next day,  the incident day , we spoke to Kovalan and said we will meet him in the evening. meanwhile , cousin of Nehru , Rahul entered the picture , he also joined us for meeting kovalan . he was a tall and stout fellow , we asked him just to stay back and stare at kovalan and threaten him and not to speak a word.
We asked him to come to an isolated place to see him but he was afraid and asked to come to little populated area near a ground. we started to the place. Gandhi who smokes bought few of them, just for build up and blow smoke over their face - we have seen almost all rajini movies…
We took two wheelers and we four reached the spot… there were aroud 15 guys standing near that ground  while around 5 of them is kovalan and his gang and others were drunken local college students… as per plan , Gandhi started smoking ,Rahul started staring… we asked who is kovalan and started investigating him about what mischief he did… while others were interfering and disturbing.. i took kovalan with me and went for a walk around the ground  , gave him good advise and threatened him of dire consequences.he understood and i thought the issue is over. while i returned, the atmosphere completely different .all of them were in a fighting mood… rahul is almost in to quarrel … then i advised that we had spoken to Kovalan and the issue is over… we were about to board and start in our two wheelers… they were using unparliamentary  words and wanted us to stay and fight… but we did not know that they were waiting for their rowdy friends to join.
Four more guys arrived and they were confident now. i did not know what Gandhi did but he was the first one to be hit. midst the shouting voices we heard a loud bang , Gandhi was hit right on his head but that was a coward who hit him from back. i initially thought he was it by bottle but it was steel wire used for fencing (kambi veli ).blood was flowing down his face. i was shocked but immediately bounced on the bad guy and caught his both hands before he could beat gandhi the next time.
i left him and came the other side - one more guy was trying to beat me with belt . was beaten once and next time i snatched the belt from him and belted him twice , he ran away , i thought it was over. but he came back with the steel fence and before i could react,  i was hit twice , now blood was flowing down my face too… then i reacted to him before he could beat  - i said ” already Ratham varuthu vendam vittudu ” ( already blood is flowing leave me )…thank god he left me….
i turned around to see Nehru running for his life… three guys were chasing him…  beaten by hand  and beaten by steel wire once… next time he snatched the wire … i thought now it is our turn and we are going to beat them up…but to my dismay poor nehru thrown the wire away and ran again…
Helmet saves life … it was true.. i was the evidence… i saw rahul defending himself from the steel wire using helmet… fortunately he was not badly hurt…
Gandhi again… after all this drama… Gandhi.. true to his name was silently getting  beaten with steel wire … with out shouting or running away… what was even more funny is… he was beaten by a guy and he is asking the same guy “ungaluku oru thangachi irunthu… epadi oruthan panna.. neenga summa viduveengala… ” (if have sister like me , and if she is teased , will you be silent) there came an answer - he was beaten again with steel wire. blood all over his face, except his eyes everything was blood red even his teeth.
everything happened in a minute… they were well trained it seems.. all of them disappeared in a second… they also damaged our vehicle so that we cant ride… Gandhi immediately gave a call to his father and asked him to come there. i and nehru stayed back with the vehicle and asked Rahul to take Gandhi to hospital… and we took the vehicle and started walking slowly… still with the excitement of the fight and with fast pumping hearts… two mins…  all the members of gandhi’s family were at the spot… i cant imagine how they got there too quickly… and one member of that gang was caught was being beaten all of them… now everything was settled gandhi’s family arrived… one guy was caught… enough to capture the entire gang… Gandhi’s family took the poor guy to police station and we poor guys were taken to hospital… took the first aid and had TT injections … again we were all happy excited and making fun on each other for what we did and started enjoying every moment of it… amidst all this.. we were hungry.. we then went to hotel took hearty dinner…all the time i was trying to cover my face , i don want anyone to recognize me as i have lied that i was on a business trip…
we went to police station and explained the incident to inspector  and we all returned to Gandhi’s residence - his mom immediately fainted on seeing him and then she recovered to say -” Namma parambaraileye , adika poi adi vangittu vantha van nee than da.. ” ( you are only one in our family , to have gone to beat people and got beaten up) there was a immediate burst of laughter on hearing that…but Gandhi with all his bandages unable to laugh… he did not fight back… he did not run away.. he did not even defend… thats Gandhi… Non voilence all the way… Gandhi woke up the next day to confess us that - he was beating up the baddies with the towel he had.. while they were beating him with steal wire… laughter again…
Gandhi was the hero that day…. we thanked each other for giving ourselves the most exciting episode of our lifes and we parted away after the holidays…
now eagerly waiting for our next meeting…
everyone should live exciting moments like these… it is fun all the way….

E = MC^2 , Not any more…

E = MC^2  ,  Not any more… Astonished ?..  Me too…
The news comes from the CERN facility which houses the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).Researchers announced that they had recorded particles traveling 60 billionths of a second faster than light.Einstein’s celebrated formula about the relation between mass and energy and theory of relativity are now under scrutiny. we pity you Einstein…
If it turns out that the CERN experiment is correct, then all our scientific understanding is flawed. All sorts of strange things could happen if the speed of light can be exceeded.Strange things ?… Faster-than-light travelers could go back in time… whah… very interesting… Let the researchers break their heads and rewrite the physics books ,and we shall think what we can do if we can go back in time…
Go back in time… can all those cherished moments in our lives be relived ?
moments we first started walking alone …
moments we got the doll that we most wanted …
moments we spent in the laps of our mom…
moments we spent having our favorite delicious food…
moments we started cycling with out anyone’s support…
moments we won the running race in our school competition…
moments we hit first six in the game of cricket…
moments we danced with great passion on the stage…
moments we received the awards with great pride…
moments we spent with our friends chatting all night…
moments we fought with our brother and sister…
moments we won a game in the final seconds…
moments we saw the most beautiful girl in our lives…
moments we breathed when our proposal was accepted by our love…
moments we spent speaking long hours in phone with our love…
moments we get married..
moments we make love…
moments we see our beautiful children making their way to world…
moments they start to walk alone …
here it goes … the beautiful cycle…  there are many many cherished moments my friends wants to add… (Add those in comments… )
here we have discussed only the cherished and beautiful moments… there are many sad and to-be-changed moments in our lives that we would like to relive to change what we did and make it good times too…( but i don’t want to discuss those and leave my friends with heavy hearts)
oh… we men always had a long wish list , we can relive all those if we can go back in time… but can we really go back in time ???
Time will give us the answer…

Want some go Get some…

Want some… Go… Get some… Sounds good right ? though it has some american accent to it. I was just thinking for the URL address of my posts.., this was the first catch phrase to flash across my mind though i have not heard /used  it before…
there were many questions arising in my mind while thinking over the phrase…
Have we all got what we want ?
i guess no … especially we never got all we want… We - here i include my middle class friends who are looking at the calenders on third week of every month and wish 30th will come sooner … boss we will get the salary only on 30th… (Hurray…This month i was lucky to be salaried on 29 th - Don’t ask for treat friends,Pls)
Have we all had the support to pursue what we really want ?
I guess no… we never had the support to pursue what we really wanted… only in Gautum menon’s imagination we can have a father sending his son to US in pursuit of his girl friend. we were fighting with our family to get us cricket bat and finally got it only when BOOST started distributing it for free on buying it… Thanks BOOST - we owe you a lot…
Have we all had the Situation to pursue what we really want ?
I guess no… we never had the situation to pursue what we really wanted … monetary commitments were always haunting us from pursuing what we really wanted…  we wanted to buy a flat now but boss how can we buy  - we don’t have money to make even initial payment and there are many good banks providing loans with hefty interests which are to be paid for the rest of our life time , in many cases even  it can not covered in a life time…
Then Who the Hell Gets what they really Want ???
Lets us take few people as examples whom we suppose that they got what they really want…
Sachin - how he really got what he wanted … Boss - I fully agree that he has god gifted talent , passion & love for the game and he works hard every day…but how he got that - he really had a very good elder brother who always took him to grounds to make him play and brought him the cricketing stuff…
Vijay - how he really got what he really wanted.., Boss - He is in the worst actor list only next to Sam Anderson ( ‘Yarruku Yarro Step nee’ Famous).he got because he had cash rich father who can produce movies for him…
Lets Conclude…
Atleast, few in the millions of get what they really want… what does others do , they live what they got. Interestingly huge population in that , lives happily with what they got.. thanks to the Indian mindset for accepting things even if they don’t love it (at the beginning but they slowly love them too ).thankfully, there are not many badly repenting for not getting what they really want…
There may be many inspiring stories , successful people , persuasive speakers , At the end of it all…. ..
Come on Boss… Let us live with the reality… We men are made by Circumstances…  nothing more… nothing less…
-  this is my first post. your comments and feedback are greatly appreciated…
